It's used for db2 V8 to format log file.

    You need to put db2pdlog in sqllib/bin directory.

    eg:db2pdlog -a S000***.LOG

    You can use db2flsn to find out what the log file number is if you know the LSN.

  -archive   Check archived logs for truncated logs
  -quiet     Output to screen only errors and diagnostic info
  -force     Will not stop on error, but try to skip it and
             continue with the formatting
  -nopending Check for pending transactions
  -indoubt   Record indoubt transactions
  -nobacklsn Bypass back LSN verification
  -a         All log pages are formatted
  -bnn       Begin formatting at log page nn of first log file
  -enn       End formatting at log page nn of last log file
  -C         Show user data
  -I         Show index data
  -X         Show XDA data
  -c         Character and hex dump of the log data
  -d         Log data formatted in hex only
  -l         Use SQLOGCTL.LFH.1/SQLOGCTL.LFH.2 as input Log Control File
  -L         Use SQLOGCTL.LFH.1/SQLOGCTL.LFH.2 as input Log Control File
  -m         Use SQLOGMIR.LFH as input Mirror Control File
  -snn[-nn]  Use Snnnnnnn.LOG [to Snnnnnnn.LOG] as input file
  -r   Use name as the rawlog file
  -onn       Starting offset in the raw device
  -lsnrange  only report lsn range covered by log file(s),
             (-s must be specified)
  -pp        output both ping pong pages (default is to merge them into a
             single ping pong page
  -FB[id,..] Show only BPS log records
  -FD[id,..] Show only DMS log records
  -FF[id,..] Show only long field log records
  -FI[id,..] Show only IXM log records
  -FX[id,..] Show only XDA log records
  -FL[id,..] Show only LOB log records
  -FK[id,..] Show only BMS log records
  -FP        Show only DPS log records
  -FR        Show only RDS log records
  -Ft   Show only log records for transaction with TID
  -Fg  Show only log records that has the specified gxid
  -Fpnn      Show only log records for data in tablespace with id nn
  -Fo[[,]:[,]] show only records for data in obj
  -Frxx      Show only log records with RID xx
  -Fdnn[-nn] Show only log records for rows in data page number nn [to nn]
  -Finn[-nn] Show only index log records in index page number nn [to nn]
  -Fxnn[-nn] Show only XDA log records in XDA page number nn [to nn]
  -Ffnn[-nn] Show only long field manager log records in offset range nn [to nn]

db2flsn 可以根据LSN找到这个LSN所对应的那个LOG文件 。
在SQL Replication里会经常要用到。

db2flsn 000000BF0030
      Given LSN is contained in log page 2 in log file S0000002.LOG

另外，db2pdlog是实验室的人用的，不是给大家伙用的。:)收起
