    are comma seperated FIELD=VALUE definitions.
    Instance record fields are:
      service version instancename instancepath usage startatboot maintenance installpath remoteprof comment
    Service record fields are:
      service version installpath gcfmodule comment fixpacknumber installeruid interimfixletter timestamp specialinstallnumber
    Variable record fields are:
      service variable value installpath comment

    Example: Add a simple instance record:
      db2greg -addinstrec service=DB2,instancename=db2user,maintenance=1

    Example: Change instance name to 'db2inst1' in the record added above
      db2greg -chginstrec instancename=db2user!service=DB2,instancename=db2inst1,maintenance=1



personally i don't suggest you to run this tool without checking with ibm db2 support. incorrect usage of this tool might damage the global registry...收起
