trasfromer model對於每個dimension
會有2個預設的dimension views: all category & omit
並將每個dimension的dimension view設成all category
你可以從cube property看到
若你同時產生多個cube, 而每個cube中雖有同樣的dimension, 但需有不同的內容
如: 有些是3個item, 有些是2個item...
這時你就需要設計多個dimension view去滿足這樣的需求
而不同的dimension view會使得measure roll up值有所不同,
所以model size會和此有關
另外會用到dimension view是設定cube security
在7版是針對不同user class設計dimension view
在8版則是先設計dimension view, 再assign不同的user, user group, user class收起

There is a formula you can use to estimate the amount of space to allocate for the temporary files.

If {([(A*4)+(B*4)+(C*16)+8]*D)/1024/1024}*2 is greater than 1431, the space calculation is that

number plus E. If the calculated result is less than or equal to 1431, the required space is that number

(do not add E).

Taking the test model as an example, the calculated space requirement is 7047 MB, given the following

input values:

● A = the total number of dimensions

● B = the number of dimension views associated with the PowerCube

● C = the number of regular measures (calculated measures are not counted)

● D = the number of input records for all transactional data sources

● E = 1431; the WorkFileMaxSize setting divided by 1024 * 1024 (MB)

另外得靠系统监控工具观察调整。还有要考虑并发量这个因素。收起
