Unable to publish package from Framework Manager

Symptom

BMT-MD-0058 Package is empty

Cause

As the error suggests, the model is empty with no datasource(s) yet added as can be seen in the Project Viewer window. This can happen when creating a project for the first time if the initial "Select Metadatasource Source" wizard is cancelled before completion.

Resolving the problem

Add metadata to the project before attempting to publish.

Steps:Either start a new project and complete the "Select Metadatasource Source" wizard, or right-click the model namespace and select "Run Metadata Wizard" which brings up the same screen to add a datasource.
