ORA-04030: out of process memory

In a recent Oracle upgrade to 11g, encounterred the following error:

ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 4088 bytes (PLS CGA hp,pdz2M87_Allocate_Permanent)
ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 8168 bytes (callheap,kdbmal allocation)

 

It turned out to be the problem of ulimit stack size. Make sure ulimit to be what Oracle recommned
