Problem Summary:
The connection to the managing system failed authentication with a message indicating that the server firmware password locked.
Resolution:
Wait 10 minutes for this to clear, or sign on the ASMI interface with Admin ID. From the Advanced System Management login screen, type the user ID and password, and click the Log in button or press the Enter key. Expand Login Profile, and then select Change Password. Change the user ID to HMC, and reset it.
