User received the below error while accessing the Cogos Portal of a newly setup environment.
During the start of services only "camAsyncService" fails to start.
Error in the Cogserver.log:
AAA-SYS-0001 An internal error occurred.AAA-SYS-0004 The authentication service response was invalid.org.dom4j.DocumentException: Error on line 97 of document : An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0x1a) was found in the element content of the document. Nested exception: An invalid XML

Same error was seen while accessing the Cognos Portal using Gateway URI and also while trying to access dispatcher URI. Screenshot attached
Unknown issues while importing the content store deployment export from the old system into the new environment

Recreate the content store tables by following the below steps:
1. Take a good deployment export from the old environment
2. Drop the content store tables in the new environment by executing the Content Store clean up scripts
While you execute the cleanup script make sure you are login with the same credentials that have been provided in IBM Cognos Configuration for Content Store.
3. Start the services on the new environment.
The services start fine and the portal is accessible
4. Now Import the deployment (taken in step 1) into the new environment through IBM Cognos Administration -> Configuration (Tab) -> Content Administration -> Click on 'New Import' icon in the top right corner.
5. After the import is complete you can try to access Cognos Connection. It should work fine.
