1.2 操作系统要求
GBase 8t V8.7 产品需要部署于 Redhat Enterprise Linux 6.x 64 位操作
系统，建议以 Software Development Workstation 模式安装。
1.3 环境准备
在准备操作系统前，请阅读安装包中 doc 目录下的文件
ids_machine_notes_12.10.txt 中的“机器说明”。该机器说明还包括用于调整
操作系统以支持 GBASE 实例的建议以及特定于您的操作系统的所有限制。
创建 informix 组和 informix 用户
以 root 用户身份登录系统后创建 informix 组和 informix 用户。
要创建 informix 组，请执行以下操作： groupadd informix
创建 informix 用户，请执行以下操作： useradd –g informix informix

2.1 安装准备
在启动安装过程之前，必须准备系统以确保您有足够权限来执行安装。
您必须以 root 用户身份登录才能执行许多与安装有关的任务。
将产品安装光盘插入光驱，取出光盘中 Setup 目录下的文件，复制到本地
目录。Setup 目录中包含 GBase 8t 产品的安装包文件，该文件通常是形如
GBase8tV8.7.12.10.FC4G1TL_1.6.3.12.RHEL6_x86.tar 的压缩文件，在本手册
中，以 GBase8tV8.7.12.10.FC4G1TL_1.6.3.12.RHEL6_x86.tar 为例进行安装说
明。
解压该 tar 包，解压命令为：tar –vxf filename.tar
[root@PC-TEST gbt]# tar -vxf GBase8tV8.7.12.10.FC4G1TL_1.6.3.12.RHEL6_x86.tar

2.2 执行安装
执行安装脚本 ids_install,即可进行安装，具体命令如下：
[root@PC-TEST gbt]# sh ids_install
执行安装过程中，安装程序先检查系统环境，如果系统没有安装 JDK，那么
安装包会先解压 JDK，自动安装到该系统中。如果已经安装，那么将显示产品的
授权条款，并等待确认是否授受这些版权条款。
具体安装过程示例如下：

Please read carefully the following licencing agreement before installing any
product: TIANJIN GENERAL DATA TECHNOLOGY CO. LTD. LICENSE AGREEMENT
READ THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT AND ANY PROVIDED SUPPLEMENTAL LICENSETERMS
(COLLECTIVELY "AGREEMENT") CAREFULLY BEFORE OPENING THE SOFTWAREMEDIA PACKAGE.
BY OPENING THE SOFTWARE MEDIA PACKAGE, YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS
AGREEMENT. IF YOU ARE ACCESSING THE SOFTWARE ELECTRONICALLY, INDICATE YOUR

destroy all copies of Software. - EXPORT REGULATIONS. All Software and technical data delivered underthis
Agreement are subject to US export control laws and may be subject to export
or import regulations in other countries. You agree to comply strictly with

to obtain such licenses to export,re-export, or import as may be required
after delivery to you.

Chinese law: "COPYRIGHT LAW OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA","PATENT LAW OF
THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA","TRADEMARK LAW OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF
CHINA","COMPUTER SOFTWARE PROTECTION REGULATIONS OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF

GeneralData relating to its subject matter. It supersedes all prior or

order, acknowledgment, or other communication between the parties relating to
its subject matter during the term of this Agreement. No modification of this
Agreement will be binding, unless in writing and signed by an authorize

meaning or has the conflicting views with Chinese original text conflict,
should take the laws and regulations promulgation unit as well as the
Generaldata issue Chinese original text as the standard.

Using the new instance
A database server instance was created. If you chose to initialize the
instance, it is ready to use.
You can open a command prompt to an initialized instance by running one of the
following commands at /opt/GBase8t, where ol_informix1210_1 is the path or
filename of the instance.
Windows:
ol_informix1210_1.cmd
UNIX csh:
source ol_informix1210_1.csh
UNIX ksh or bourne:
./ol_informix1210_1.ksh
If initialization fails, check the online.log file for messages. The instance's
root chunk must be owned by the correct user and group, and it must have
readable and writable (rw) permission bits set only for owner and group.
PRESS <ENTER> TO CONTINUE:安装完成，回车后退出安装程序

2.3 配置环境变量
在使用 GBase 8t 数据库服务前需要设置几个环境变量，可以以 informix
身份运行 GBase 8t 安装目录下的 ol_informix1210.ksh，或者把 GBase 8t 安
装目录下的 ol_informix1210.ksh 文件的内容追加到 informix 用户主目录下
的 .bash_profile 文件中，以便于 informix 用户在登录后即自动应用这些环境
变量。
如果要把GBase 8t安装目录下的 ol_informix1210.ksh文件的内容追加到
informix 用户主目录下的 .bash_profile 文件中，可以执行以下命令：
[root@PC-TEST GBase8t]# cd /opt/GBase8t/
[root@PC-TEST GBase8t]# cat ol_informix1210.ksh >> /home/informix/.bash_profile
2.4 设置服务自启动
如果希望 GBase 8t 数据库服务在操作系统启动时自动启动，可以在
/etc/rc.local 文件中加入相关命令实现，以本文使用的安装环境描述如下。

以 root 身份登录到操作系统，修改 /etc/rc.local 文件，在文件中加入
如下语句：
su - informix -c "source /opt/GBase8t/ol_informix1210.ksh &&
/opt/GBase8t/bin/oninit -y"
上面命令中，/opt/GBase8t 为前文示例中指定的 GBase 8t 数据库服务的
安装路径。使用 t GBase 8t 数据库
3.1 启动/ / 停止数据库服务
通常情况下，使用 informix 用户来启动和停止数据库服务。
成功安装数据库 GBase 8t 后，数据库会自动处于启动状态，可通过以下命
令检查服务进程是否存在：

3.2 登录数据库
输入 su - informix 切换到 informix 用户，在 informix 用户下输入
dbaccess - -命令进入数据库命令行模式，示例如下：
[root@PC-TEST GBase8t]# su - informix
[informix@PC-TEST ~]$ dbaccess - -3.3 创建数据库
在 dbaccess 交互命令行中，执行如下 SQL 语句，创建数据库，示例如下：
[informix@PC-TEST ~]$ dbaccess - -
create database gbase8t;
Database created.卸载 GBase 8t
当用户需要卸载 GBase 8t 数据库系统时，需要先停止数据库服务，切换到
root 用户，进入安装程序目录下的 uninstall/uninstall_ids，执行该目录下
的 uninstallids 命令进行卸载。
卸载程序开始后，选择 2 并回车，删除所有相关联的数据库文件，示例如
下：[root@PC-TEST uninstall_ids]# ./uninstallids

GBase 8t 数据库系统需要JRE运行环境支持，但用户无需在系统中预装JRE
运行环境，安装程序会使用自带的 JRE 在安装路径下安装和配置 JRE 运行环境，
供 GBase 8t 数据库服务及其相关的用程序使用。
建议用户不要在数据库安装目录下存放私有数据，以免在数据库卸载过程
中造成不必要的损失。
