GPFS运维:新增磁盘的操作实战

GPFS磁盘损坏之后，可以不添加磁盘，但通常情况下，为了保证节点间容量相似，在损坏磁盘后，需要使用更换磁盘，将新的磁盘加入到GPFS文件系统中。如何将新的磁盘加入到GPFS文件系统中呢？

**步骤如下：
1.**创建NSD

准备一个desc文件，将需要创建的NSD按照如下格式列出：
%nsd: nsd= device= servers=<节点名> usage=<数据盘dataOnly,元数据盘metadataOnly> failureGroup=<节点的failureGroup> pool=<数据盘datapool,元数据盘system>

然后运行如下命令创建NSD

mmcrnsd -F

操作步骤如下:

1）准备descFile，文件如下

%nsd: nsd=nsd0304 device=/dev/nvme0n4 servers=gpfs03 usage=dataAndMetadata failureGroup=3 pool=system

2）创建NSD

[root@gpfs03 gpfs2]# mmcrnsd -F new_nsd.txt

mmcrnsd: Processing disk nvme0n4

mmcrnsd: Propagating the cluster configuration data to all

affected nodes. This is an asynchronous process.

[root@gpfs03 gpfs2]#

3）添加NSD到文件系统

通过运行"mmlsnsd"命令确保待添加的NSD处于free的状态。

根据上节的方法创建一个desc文件，描述需要添加到文件系统中的NSD。

运行如下命令将NSD加入到GPFS文件系统中：

mmadddisk gpfs2 -F

[root@gpfs03 gpfs2]# mmadddisk gpfs2 -F new_nsd.txt

The following disks of gpfs2 will be formatted on node gpfs01:

nsd0304: size 51200 MB

Extending Allocation Map

Checking Allocation Map for storage pool system

Completed adding disks to file system gpfs2.

mmadddisk: Propagating the cluster configuration data to all

affected nodes. This is an asynchronous process.

[root@gpfs03 gpfs2]# gpfs03: Warning: Permanently added 'gpfs03,192.168.232.137' (ECDSA) to the list of known hosts.

如果整个过程没有出错，则表示正确进行了磁盘的添加。
